episode 110: aquatic urbanism

this is the first episode in a three-part series all about urbanism. students from Dr. Harris-Brandts' fourth year "theories of urbanism" course were tasked with producing short audio projects highlighting what they saw as important theoretical avenues in urbanism.

in this episode, Julianna, Lauren, and Megan dive into the world of aquatic urbanism, a type of planning and designing that treats water as a permanent part of a city’s infrastructure. the group examines the coastal cities of Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Miami (USA) to explain what does and doesn’t work in regards to aquatic urbanism.
